HOW TO

How to use

  1. Press Start or the Space bar to drop the first block.
  2. Move with ← →, rotate with ↑ or Z/X, and press Space to hard drop. On a phone, use the buttons below the board.
  3. Fill a whole row with no gaps to clear it. Clearing several rows at once scores more.
  4. Press C to hold a block for later. Every 10 lines you level up and blocks fall faster.

How is the score calculated?

Clearing 1, 2, 3 or 4 lines at once gives 100, 300, 500 or 800 points times your level. Soft drops add 1 point per cell and hard drops add 2.

What are the ghost piece and hold?

The ghost shows where the current block will land. Hold stores one block so you can swap it in later, once per block. You can turn the ghost off in the options.

Where is my high score saved?

Your best score and line count are saved only in this browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
