FAQ

FAQ

Which BMI categories does this use?

The World Health Organization adult categories: under 18.5 underweight, 18.5–24.9 healthy weight, 25–29.9 overweight and 30 or above obesity (classes 1–3).

How are BMR and TDEE calculated?

BMR uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. TDEE multiplies your BMR by an activity factor from 1.2 (sedentary) to 1.9 (extra active).

Is this medical advice?
