FAQ

FAQ

Is a signature added this way legally binding?

Not necessarily. This tool places an image of your signature on the PDF; it isn't a certificate-based digital signature. For contracts and other important documents, use a method the other party accepts or a dedicated e-signature service.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The PDF and your signature are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to a server. Signatures you create can be reused until you close this tab.

Which characters can I type?

Latin letters, numbers and Korean are supported. The first time you add text, a font is loaded and only the characters you use are embedded in the PDF, so it can take a few seconds once.

Can it fill in PDF form fields?

It doesn't fill interactive form fields directly, but you can drag text boxes on top of the fields to fill them in.
