FAQ

FAQ

What's the tool evolution order?

Paper clip → Eraser → Pencil → Ruler → Scissors → Brush → Palette → Hammer → Wrench → Saw → Toolbox: 11 tiers in all. At first only clips, erasers and pencils drop; as you build bigger tools, rulers and scissors join in. From the brush up, tools can only be made by merging, and each new tool you make is recorded in the Tool Dex.

How does scoring work?

Each merge scores by the tool it creates: eraser 2, pencil 6, ruler 12, scissors 20 … saw 90 and toolbox 120. Merges within a second of each other build a combo, and from a 3-combo on you get combo × 2 bonus points.

What happens when two toolboxes meet?

The toolbox is the final tier, so they don't merge further. Instead, the two vanish from the box with a 500-point bonus, freeing up space.

When does the game end? Do quick bounces count?

It ends when a tool that was dropped or merged more than a second ago stays above the dashed line for over 3 seconds in total. Tools bouncing up quickly don't count, and the warning timer drains fast once tools drop back below the line. Your best score and Tool Dex are saved only in this browser.
