CPS means clicks per second. Most people score around 5 to 7 CPS, and anything over 10 is fast. The ranks here are split at 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 CPS.
Yes. Clicks, taps and Space presses all count once each. Auto-repeat from holding a key down does not count. If another button or text field has focus, Space goes there, so tap the pad once before you start.
Your best CPS for each mode is stored only in this browser (localStorage). It isn't shared with other devices, and you can erase it with Clear records.
Popular techniques are alternating two fingers (butterfly clicking) and jitter clicking, where you tense your wrist so your finger vibrates on the button. Take breaks, since hard clicking can strain your wrist.
