How to use

  1. Tap a sound tile to turn it on, and use its slider to set the volume.
  2. Layer as many sounds as you like, or tap a preset such as Rainy Café or Deep Focus.
  3. Set the overall volume with MASTER and pause or resume with the play button.
  4. Pick a sleep timer (15–90 min) to fade out and stop automatically. Your mix is remembered next time.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Most sounds are generated live in your browser. Only the five sounds marked “recorded” (ocean waves, gentle surf, city rain, creek and coffee shop) are downloaded the first time you turn them on.

I can't hear anything on my iPhone.

Turn off silent mode with the ring/silent switch and check your volume. iOS blocks web audio while silent mode is on.

What's the difference between white, pink and brown noise?

White noise has equal energy at every frequency and sounds hissy. Pink noise softens the highs and sounds more natural. Brown noise is deeper still, a low rumble many people find best for focus and sleep.
